The new real estate agent's Journal was written to help both new and seasoned agents focus on selling real estate. As an entrepreneur, it is your responsibility to create a paycheck every single day. When you decided to become a real estate agent, you essentially chose to enter the arena of the self-employed. Real estate agents start a career, not just a job. Your paycheck is up to you, and it is now your task to determine where your business will come from and how to generate leads.
Every new agent must commit to the process of being an entrepreneur. The world of social media may make the real estate career appear simple, but that is far from the truth. Not every social media influencer is successfully selling real estate, or at least not in the way it appears. On the other hand, there are many agents who are hugely successful on social media or using traditional marketing efforts to build a successful real estate business. This can be you, if you are willing to put in the work, build a business plan, set goals, and follow through.
As a business owner, it is my job to help every agent in my office understand that becoming an entrepreneur takes effort. It is also my responsibility to supervise, educate, and ensure the agent stays in line with the licensing act and the code of ethics. The agent's job is to generate new business, new leads, and close real estate transactions. No one is going to put leads on your desk every day without you spending money. Just because you passed the real estate exam does not make you an expert; it simply gives you the right to sell real estate. Now, you must learn how to do the business of real estate.
In this journal, I provide thought-provoking questions to help you start your real estate journey. Whether you are a brand-new agent, an agent returning to the business, or an agent needing to reinvent themselves, this journal can assist you in building a successful real estate career. You must put in the work to reap the benefits.
The journal includes a place to create your "Why" Statement, how to start your journey, a conversation about leads and suggestions to start generating leads, a push to always learn something new, a section on creating a business plan with goals, why you must take this business seriously, a section on authenticity, and information on how to connect with me.
Use this journal to: 1. Write down your "Why" for real estate. 2. Think 3. Re-think 4. Plan out your day 5. Take notes 6. Write your successes and failures 7. Write down your goals 8. Write down your income goals 9. Remember your connections 10. Things you want to do in real estate 11. Things you want to accomplish 12. Classes you want to take 13. People you want to meet 14. Connect with me
Think outside of the box when writing in your journal. Take advantage of my YouTube Channel and Instagram TV Channel to learn. Ask a lot of questions, and if you don't know something, write it down in your journal so you can do the research and learn. Remember, real estate success may not happen overnight. However, with persistence, patience, consistent learning, and follow-up, you can become a successful real estate agent.
